About Usui Reiki
Reiki for Everyone
- Reiki is a Japanese spiritual healing art that directly translates into Universal Life (Rei) Energy (Ki).
- It is the pure form of healing energy and it is NOT affiliated with any particular religion, though it can be a very spiritual experience for most!
- Reiki is NOT the same as massage because physical touch by the practitioner is not necessary during the session, nor is it based on belief or suggestion.
- Reiki IS a subtle and effective complementary medicine which enhances the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
- All living things have an energy, or Ki, that runs through them and it should typically be strong and free flowing which keeps them in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked, it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.
- A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through you and surrounds you. It treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, spirit and leaves you feeling relaxed and peaceful. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of healing and self-improvement that everyone can benefit from.

What To Expect For Your Session
- A session is usually 60 to 90 minutes long. Before your session, a brief intake will occur in which we will review your Intake Form. I will give you an opportunity to discuss any particular problems or issues you are experiencing and ask what you are hoping to achieve from your session. I will describe the session to the client & begin when ready.
- For the actual session, the client will rest comfortably on a massage table on their back with their shoes removed. Unlike massage, no articles of clothing are removed and a client is always fully clothed; loose, comfortable clothing is suggested. Due to licensing requirements, all sessions will be hands-off where I will hold my hands slightly above your body. The session will then proceed by moving through specific standard Reiki hand positions beginning at the person’s head.
- A recipient of Reiki might feel a warming sensation or a tingling during the session or nothing at all but sheer relaxation. The session should be very pleasant, relaxing and invigorating. When the session is complete, I always allow for time to come out of your relaxed state and discuss what might have come up for you during your session as well as any insights I might have received.
HEALTH & SAFTEY PROTOCOLS
It is standard practice that we place clean bedding on the table before each new client. All items that can be, are sanitized between uses.

- Please do NOT come for your session if you are feeling unhealthy. Notify me ASAP.
- If you are uncertain of if you are experiencing allergies or Covid, please test yourself ahead of time.

Usui Reiki Ryoho Biofield Therapy
These Reiki sessions are perfect for those who are new to Reiki and just want to focus solely on the pure Usui Reiki healing biofield therapy without any "extras". In these sessions, we work on balancing your body's energy fields, removing any stuck energy or "blockages" and aligning your chakras.
This Usui Reiki method also applies to our Animal Reiki Services.
Sacred Biofield Reiki Therapy
These Reiki sessions combine the pristine healing energy of Usui Reiki with 30 years of sacred ceremony and ritual creation. Moving beyond a standard treatment, this immersive experience utilizes the entire biofield canvas to clear, balance, and elevate your frequency.
Each session includes:
- Intentional opening to ground your intentions for your time
- Biofield Therapy layered with sound, guided meditation, herbs and breathwork, - occasionally, channeled Ancestral Guidance as well can come through at this time as well.
- Sessions conclude with a dedicated integration to bridge your healing experience back to the current moment.
Animal Reiki
We are pleased to announce our new in-person offering of Animal Reiki in Santa Ana, CA! Remote or park sessions available as well.
Animal Reiki works very similarly to traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho only it is adapted for the Animal in session. These sessions are charged per minute and is up to the client (animal) as to the length of time they need. Animals absorb the healing energy much faster and in a higher concentration than humans so a standard session would last no longer than 30 minutes. Standard time is closer to 10 - 15 mins.
- Each session includes Intake time and a check-in post session.
- Owners are welcome to stay with their animals & are encouraged to do so to help keep them calm.
- Owners are encouraged to bring pets favorite blanket or small bedding, toy, treat etc to make them comfortable during their session.

Reiki Lineage
Lineage matters when it comes to passing down sacred knowledge.
When seeking a Reiki Practitioner or Master to work with, it is always good to ask them about their lineage.
